  Recently I had the misfortune of a disturbing phone conversation with an agent employed with this RE/MAX office; her name is Clara O'Leary. Now I'm not the sort to create a scene or spectacle of myself or any one else but I cannot remain in the shadows after this event. I contacted Ms.O'Leary concerning a property listing she was presenting in Lake City, Fl which my boyfriend and I were interested in pursuing. My first contact was by multiple emails (which by the way, Ms. O'Leary denied receiving); this was followed up with a phone call at which time I explained we were interested in the property she was presenting as well as a few others in the area. "What are you looking for?" "Have you been to this area before?" I understand the relevance of these questions, but it was the tone of these questions. I did respond at which time I was abruptly stopped in my tracks with the response, "you're looking for a tour guide, I don't do that". WHAT! Now I could write several more paragraphs on just how disturbing and caught-off-guard I was by such a response from a so-called licensed realtor but instead I will say, as a consequence of this individual's attitude and harsh words, we will not view or purchase any property presented by RE/MAX of Gainesville, FL. The ONLY reason I have given one star to this review is so that I would be able to post this.
